If you use one of our supported cloud storage systems, you have the option of adding thumbnail previews for resources! Thumbnails helpfully draw a reader’s attention and make it clear what the file is.

The following cloud storage systems are supported by Workleap Onboarding:

You can still add a link to files hosted on other cloud storage platforms, you just will not be able to display a resource thumbnail for the link.

In an activity, click the button Add a resource, then Add a link. Paste your file's URL in the Link field.

Above the link, if you used a compatible cloud storage system, you’ll see an option to integrate it with Workleap Onboarding. Click Connect.

An authentication screen will ask you to log into your cloud storage software and to accept permissions.

Once you’re done the title and the icon for the resource will also autofill based on how the file is named in your cloud storage. You can edit the Title if needed.

When you’re done, click Save and the thumbnail for the resource will now appear in activities.

If you no longer want your cloud storage account connected to Workleap Onboarding, you can remove it on the Profile page. See the article Profile and password information for more information on disconnecting apps.
