However, if you suspect a security incident, it is crucial to report it immediately. This guide will walk you through the process of reporting a security incident to us, ensuring that any potential threats are addressed promptly.

What is considered a security incident?

A security incident is any event that could potentially compromise the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of data or systems. Examples of security incidents include:

  1. Unauthorized access: Any unauthorized attempt or successful access to sensitive information.

  2. Data breach: Accidental or intentional release of secure or private information to an untrusted environment.

  3. Malware or phishing attacks: Suspected or confirmed malware installation or phishing attempts targeting Workleap Onboarding users.

  4. Denial-of-Service (DoS) attack: Any activity that impairs the normal functioning of Workleap Onboarding's services or infrastructure.

  5. System vulnerabilities: Any identified weakness in our system's security that could potentially be exploited.

How to report a security incident:

Reporting through the Intercom Messenger widget:

  1. Click on the Intercom Messenger widget located in the bottom right corner of your screen.

  2. Select the "Send us a message" option.

  3. Provide a detailed description of the incident, including any relevant information such as the nature of the incident, the date and time it occurred, and any other pertinent details.

  4. Attach any relevant screenshots or files that can help us better understand the situation.

  5. Click "Send" to submit the report.

Reporting via email:

  1. Compose a new email to [email protected].

  2. Use "Security Incident Report" as the subject line.

  3. Clearly describe the incident, providing as much detail as possible to help us assess the situation effectively.

  4. Attach any relevant files, logs, or screenshots that can assist in our investigation.

  5. Send the email to submit the report.

What happens after you report a security incident?

Upon receiving your report, our dedicated security team will promptly investigate the matter to assess the severity of the incident. We will take immediate action to mitigate any potential risks and prevent similar incidents in the future. Our team will keep you informed about the progress and resolution of the incident, ensuring transparency throughout the process.
