Why the name changes in the first place?
Last June, we shared that our parent company, GSoft, would be rebranding to Workleap: a new home and ecosystem we’ve created to further expand and unify our family of employee experience software products to deliver more value to our customers. As a next step in our new chapter, we are changing all Workleap products’ name to tie them all together. This change is small, but it marks an important step in our quest to make work really work.
Is this name change related to the legal name change that happened in August?
In August, Softstart’s legal name has changed to Workleap Platform Inc. This change was solely for accounting and billing purposes.
The name change communicated today relates to the product name change itself and does not impact the legal entity name change communicated in August.
What does this mean for my subscription, price, support and relationship with the Customer Success team?
Your subscription, price, support and relationship with the Customer Success team won’t be impacted by this change; they will stay the same in the near term. As we continue to expand Workleap and build deeper integrations between our products, we will be sure to inform you well in advance of any significant changes.
Where will the new name and logo be visible?
The new name and logo will be visible in the app, on the marketing website, in communications and marketing material. The application login and URLs will still work as normal on my.softstart.app and the support email address will still be [email protected]
What are these other products I see on the Workleap website?

What does this mean for our users’ experience? What will change in the app?
You will see no significant changes to the Softstart experience in the near term. You will, however, notice changes to the logo and name in the app, on the marketing website, in communications and marketing material, and changes to the look and feel of our marketing and customer communications. As we continue to expand Workleap and build deeper integrations between our products, we will be sure to inform you well in advance of any significant changes.
Will there be any service stoppages as a result of this change?
There won’t be any service stoppages as a result of this change. You will see no significant changes in your day-to-day use and management of Softstart in the near term.
Will the URL for the website change?
Yes. Softstart’s marketing website will migrate to www.workleap.com.
Will the URL in app change?
In the near term, the URL in the app will stay the same. As we continue to expand Workleap and build deeper integrations between our products, we will be sure to inform you well in advance of any significant change to the URL in app.
Will all products be integrated?
Workleap will be evolving constantly. As we bring together our existing family of products and future products, we will share key milestones and dates to look out for so you can take advantage of the ever-expanding value of Workleap.
